Goto OptinMonster and click create campaign. 

For demo purpose I have selected Popup . 

Here we can see many pre – created templates and you can choose anyone. Some of the names are coupon, festive ,cyber , hustle and we can start from scratch also . 

Give a name to campaign . Select the website which you want to load the campaign. Next click start building.

You can also customize the popup template according to your needs. For this tutorial we are using the default design . Click Save button from time to time . Next goto the default rules .

Here as a first step we are going to set a rule to display popup for new visitors who are coming to the website. 

So In the If rule we are going to set the condition “time on page”. In the dropdown of if rule we are going to set the option “is immediate” . 

Next in the AND option which is a rule for Onsite retargeting . Here in the dropdown menu we have to select "visitor is new" because we are creating a popup for new visitors who are coming to the website

 Next goto publish tab . Make the status live Finally save the campaign. 

We can also set a coupon popup with awesome offer (or) high discount , if the new visitor immediately  leaves the website. For that we have to condition like below.

In the if rule choose exit detected and we can set the sensitivity to Low , Medium , High .
